Do you mean the Sturmey Archer spoke protector? should be the same as the Grifter

sorry yes spoke protector. No its different from the grifter one(the grifter one has more cresent shapes round the outside and smaller round holes towards the middle) I purchased a mk2 grifter in bits and that was in the box instead of the grifter one. Cheers.

pretty sure the design changed slightly on these, can't remember when ? do the mk1 differ to the mk2 type ???

They changed them on the super Grifter range. It's the same as a Chopper 5 speed.
