removing the badge? do you guys knock off the pins inside the tube? to release badge

also where do you get new pins/rivots from  to refit?

also wheels are next and are in a bad way, do you guys rechrome or
buy new rims

Knock em off from inside the steerer tube mate then gently prize the badge off, you should get some rivets off ebay for around £1.
Re-chroming costs a bit, if your wheels are badly pitted and have to be prepped that'll cost more, most of us have just got hold of decent rims off breaking Grifters, you wont get new ones im afraid  

Buy an xl and nick the rims off it!!! (sorry mike)
