Hi All,

I am looking for some help….

A well known cycling publication we are working with is looking to borrow a Grifter for a “design classic” feature.

The bike is needed in Bath/Bristol area ASAP as is not for riding, only for a photoshoot.

Age of the bike is not 100% important but a Grifter XL is a fave of the editor although I prefer the MKII

If anyone can help, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Simon

guessing you'll be needing a nice shiny one as opposed to an old banger?

Not a good statement to say on a raleigh grifter forum!!     As much as we all respect choppers on this site, piebloke chose the right classic for a photoshoot

Spoke to the Editor of the magazine today. Hopefully I'll be taking the photo's as well. This will be a good opportunity for some good exposure  and to promote the forum. I'll keep you all informed on any progress.

What bike are you using then andy? your NOS mk1? or your own original restored mk1? you dont have a XL in your collection or a mk2 (apart from the GS of course!) have you persuaded them to take a MK1?

I thought I'd add some images from the Grifter Photo shoot I did this week to give you all a sneak preview of what the images will look like. I'd add some final images after the magazine is published.
