can anyone tell me the length of a mk1 rear guard ?

metric or imperial ? without mud flap ,

It is approx 16" long or 41 cm. I used a tailors tape measure so you can measure the curve.

The centre of the holes for the flairs are 2cm from the front and 1.5cm from the side. Hope this helps.

Do you have another mudguard you can copy the shape from mate?
I normally cut it with a junior hacksaw the smooth the edges with a grinding wheel.

after much searching for a good mk1 - finally got my hands on a couple of good mk2 rear guards - so i have a template and one to attack !!! personally i just think the longer mk2 guards don't look right !

im with you there mate the mk1 just looks more mean!

I like all grifters but the first mk1s are the original and best.
