I've been scouring the interwebs to find out how much a grifter weighs... in my hazy memory of 20 years it seemed like a metric ton at the time.

since I have no grifter to check perhaps one of you experts might be able to help?

The same weight as a newborn hippopotamus.

about the weight of six modern bikes, my old dad used to say it weighed more than a sack of spuds, which was 56 pounds (an old fashioned weight, about 27 kilos)
