i had the same problem when refitting the crank arm onto a shopper style bike, solved it by taking out the cotter pin and sliding the crank a bit further out on the bb axle (if you see what i mean) then re-tightening the cotter pin. there's not a huge amount of clearance between the crank arm and stand :/ are you able to get a picture posted of the crank and stand touching? |

hi quickly nipped out took your advice, knocked cotter pin out, think i had crank arm on to far, crankarm is now flush with bottom bracket spindle( if you get me ) not much clearance there is there? only a matter of moving it 2-3mm out and problem solved nice one , set of decals on now and job done | |||
