silver mk 2 i am doing,

spraying handle bars, but the foam, have got a good replacement

fitting of, how is put on ? or more importantly kept on

is it just pushed on and superglued ?
any special glue required  the red mk2 stars i have seems to have a seam underneath

If you can, try to find a foam that has been cut at the seem. on refitting, use evo Stick impact/contact adhesive.

I did that when i re-foamed my MK2 silver bars, The foam is still on there 7 years later without a hint of the foam wanting to come away.
