I need to replace the mounting bolts for the front and rear brakes on my Mk2, does anyone know if this spec of bolt is still available anywhere?

I've not had much luck so far... it seems like a regular 6mm diameter x ~75mm length bolt, but from what I've been able to measure the thread pitch is 0.866mm (or 30 threads per inch), finer than anything I've been able to track down.

It'd be much nicer to keep the original brakes if I can get them safely mounted.

Cheers

I'm based in north London. Here's what my current workaround for the brake mountings look like... in both cases I've managed to find nuts to replace the missing bolt-heads. It's just about rideable but I really wouldn't want to try an emergency stop! smile/eek.gif

Cheers mate... my bike's in bits now ready for the weekend, but if I'm still stuck when I get round to the brakes I'll give you a shout... Thanks again
