I tried that, and it had a horrible effect on the primer, A weird kind of watery effect, a bit like putting a felt pen on a wipeboard, does that make sense? And the bottle said put 3 coats on, well i didnt manage 1 before it ran out

I did put it over primer and the hammerite said it was all in 1 primer, main coat. Don't know if thats why it went wrong but it was horrible.

If i've recently sprayed a bike and decide to change the colour do i have to take it back to the primer? Should be ok to spray or the top should'nt it
