bit tricky to see from the picture but noticed a bit of an issue on my newly painted kustom frame - that bit where the brake bolts on seems to have come away from the rest of the frame smile/eek.gif

not quite sure what to do - don't really want to dismantle the whole thing and weld, respray, etc.  will i get away with doing nothing or would this end in tears...

is the crack all the way round?if not you will prolly be ok with it,if its cracked all the way round then it will need welded.good luck

i've seen this on quite a few frames, normally all the way round, if i were you i'd just take it easy on the back brake and see how it goes, afterall you do have the disk on the front !

the crack is all the way round    proabably going to take the "suck it and see" approach - can't face all the hassle of rewelding, repainting etc and as you rightly point out grifter.ste the front disc stops it pretty smartly!

yeah i'd just see how it goes, the shape of the way the brake bridge is shaped at the ends should stop it from moving too much anyhow.
