hi pepole i have bought the two blue mk2 grifters of ebay from stoke on trent and have started striping them down to make a good one from the two but the problem is that the seat posts on both bikes are shorter than the the seat posts on my other mk2 they have not been cut and seems to be standard why is this regards gaz

Hi Gaz

The seats will originally have come from a Raleigh Boxer. There the same as a Grifter seat but with a smaller seat post.

thanks i now will be lookin for a new seat i was going to weld a post add on then get it re chromed
