Anybody got any tips on threading the cable back through the top tube.

Just spent half an hour getting annoyed and sulking like a child

Hi, I usually use an old bit of brake cable, bend the end over to make a hook, push it through the hole and let the new cable only just pass it - then pull the hook out with the new cable, takes a couple of goes but always works!  

thats the way to do it as they say , works for me as well

I cut a big section out of the top tube which helps when threading it thru. I then weld it back into place. Works every time

or use sellotape around the top tube looks pikey but it works lol

Not had time to try again yet but will take any advice going after my sulking last night.
