grifter.ste-mine has the rivet type heron badge(thats the june 81 at the top),although my 84 5 speed has the sticky type.... smile/silly.gif

great looking bomber , this was the last  pushbike I had before I started driving .Great solid bikes and you could wheelie them for fun.I raced a friend who had just got a 50cc vespa and beat him until we hit a corner I slid off the bike because of sand on the road and ended up with a vespa front mudguard in my head .
All I was worried about was my pride and joy  bomber so jumped up to check it was ok ,wasn`t too much damage ripped the seat and a few minor scrapes.
