This one took months!
In fact, nearly 12!It took a while to find the NOS guards!
Everything has been stripped, cleaned, wire brushed as needed, polished, waxed and bagged ready for the big day!
Yes,I know-the wheels are meant to be Cheng Shin snakebellys....however! A very nice man @ Cheng Shin exported to me one pair of whitewalls(it could have been to shut me up...!)
The look is very Boulevard Cruiser stateside stylee( I have the originals as well!)
The paint job is like liquid, the NOS stickers(alan, bomber man!)are spot on,and i'll let u decide if it was worth it!

youve never rode a comfy bike until youve rode a bomber, definatly worth it, also are they the right grips?

nice bomber shorty.

is it the 24 " or 26 " sized wheels ?

i have one in blue (26" wheels) which is in excellent original condition, far too good to restore in my view.

where did you find alan the bomber man, has he got much stuff for the bombers ?

The wheels are 26"
Alan can probably be found here-its the bomber version of this site-find a post by him and his email will be there!
His stickers are top stuff!

mate , i have just looked at the black bomber , and i am in love with the bomber decals , i absolutley lurve the b17 which is shown on the decal , i had the chance to have a look at the B17 that starred in the film Memphis Belle , she is actually called the Sally b and is based at RAF Duxford , , that must be one of the highlights of my life , to look around the inside of it mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Amazing transformation! I thought it looked ok in the first pic!

I don't remember ever riding one....maybe one day.

Don't forget to come along to the Brooklands Meet, 5th May 2008.

Hey Im wanting to build a couple of wheels

a 24" MTB rim on a 3 speed hub

a 26" MTB rim on a 3 speed hub

Got the hubs and rims.
But want the spoke lengths.
Can some one measure them
Maybe from a Bomber rear wheel

I can cut them and thread them on my spoke threading machine

I know I can just get a spoke calculator
but they look complicated
