the shopper does look pretty smart - didn't connect anything up to actually ride it, suspect a bit of tinkering and part switching required!

bit dissapointed at how these pics have come out though  :/

my vektar mags on my MKII silver, they look a lot whiter in the photo!, at least it got me a start on taking parts & cleaning them from the silver (cheers gli for the push ), took it for a spin & those wheels run smooth, New 1 got into the photo shoot as it's been stuck at the back of the garge gathering dust,
those mags mibee go onto new 2 once done, to many things in bits & started without an end product

nice work gus - that silver is looking smart with those mags on!  also noticed your white brake blocks      did you end up bleaching your mags at all - they look fantastic in the pics!!

i'd also be interested to see any dyeing results yoda - still got some staining on the awkward to reach parts smile/eek.gif

looking good!  notice you've got your white brake blocks on too!

can't remember if i asked this before or not, but i found that the standard axle on the vektar mag was too wide to fit the grifter (xl & super) forks.  in the short term i swapped in a grifter front axle which just about worked.  did the mag fit straight onto your mk1 forks?
