If you read the spec next to the scan of the blue mk1 i think it lays to rest the idea that the mk1 was available in a third colour  called fiery red.

it just goes to show that they not cheap to start off with

Great pics gentlemen!! really enjoyed looking at those! brought back memories!! i never knew they did a boxer XL!! what a smart looking little bike!! not seen one of those for sale, was prob a very limited run of that special edition, last of the boxers....

What do ya know about the Raleigh MX Rusty? I'm still trying to find more info about it.

Once it's finished, I'm hoping that Brooklands would like to borrow it for their Raleigh exhibition.

a little while ago i worked it out that a brand new grifter in 1977 costing approx £74.50 is the equivalent of £450 in todays rip off economy! i didn't thank my mum and dad enough!

get that brochure and scan the side aspect of the xl and zoom in on the top tube decal that way you will get a good shot of the decal required or has this been tried , if so i will sut up and go back to sleep
