Great scans 77. I love the last one of the red MK1.  

I've posted a few scans below. thought it would be nice to see them all on the same thread.

Quality scans all round chaps - well done!

If you read the spec next to the scan of the blue mk1 i think it lays to rest the idea that the mk1 was available in a third colour  called fiery red.

Great pics gentlemen!! really enjoyed looking at those! brought back memories!! i never knew they did a boxer XL!! what a smart looking little bike!! not seen one of those for sale, was prob a very limited run of that special edition, last of the boxers....

Boxer XL - was one of my last bikes before I got a 'big biys' bike.



Quite interesting to see the prices on these - doesn't make me feel so bad about how much I payed for my Raleigh MX recently.

What do ya know about the Raleigh MX Rusty? I'm still trying to find more info about it.

Once it's finished, I'm hoping that Brooklands would like to borrow it for their Raleigh exhibition.

just kidding hrz, its the first time ive ever seen a picture of a mx, i assume just for the usa market? worth having for its rarity value, odd styling thou. its like a cruiser /bmx combo!

a little while ago i worked it out that a brand new grifter in 1977 costing approx £74.50 is the equivalent of £450 in todays rip off economy! i didn't thank my mum and dad enough!

superb pics guys!  i particularly liked the wording by the supergrifter at the top of the page! now that's advertising!

get that brochure and scan the side aspect of the xl and zoom in on the top tube decal that way you will get a good shot of the decal required or has this been tried , if so i will sut up and go back to sleep
