Yeah i know what you mean, my silver mk2 is identical in every way and detail (lights etc) to the one i had as a kid also, the mk1 would defo go before my beloved mk2!!    yes, wayne i will be more than likely going with laura to that rideout, give both bikes a good run!!!    i dont think a date as been sorted as yet?? i think i remember august being mentioned??  are you or any other members going too?  

yes mate me,paul and i think brett will be coming up for a rideout and a good laugh (and maybe an ice cream!!!)

LOL!!! well the wedding is just across the estuary from blackpool in good old southport!!!   it would be nice to come out of the church to you lot on the grifters!! it would make for some top pics in the wedding albumn... i am sure the missus would not mind!!  

Im up for that mate! that would make some great pictures (we can get all the bridesmaids on the grifters) Im sure her in doors would like it after all she loves her grifter!  

Just showed here your post and she would love that!! lol! she has just come up with a fantastic idea for the tables at the venue!! on saturday i was best man for my 2nd cousin and at the reception they had a board with the seating arrangements on with different kinds of butterflies representing each table, and on the tables were cards with the corresponding butterflies so everybody knew where they were seated, laura has just suggested to give it a personal feel to us that we use different grifters instead for our seating arrangements!! (red mk 1 table, silver mk2 table, etc..) i quite like the idea!!  

what table will be yours? blue mk1? red mk1? pre pro?  

There would be some argument over that wayne, i would have silver mk2 cos thats my favourite, but laura might want my red mk1 (oooops or should i say hers now??!!) as the table marker!!!   personally i love both bikes so i would prob let her have her own way!!
