People have an ill will against mark 3 choppers.

Hi, all three are totally original apart from tyres on stars and stripes, the burner has had very light use early in its life but is as close to NOS as you can get.

very nice stars and stripes grifter, the burner looks great, don't often see that model anymore, nice to see, my mate had one... i think people (as alec says) have a prob with the mk3 chopper is because like most of the present range, its poorly and cheaply made (heard of them breaking on the welds!) as raleigh bikes are made abroad now and the quality is not as it was.....

theres a customers MK3 chopper at work.
has broken its weld on the sissy bar clamp on the top of the frame.
the bikes got bent components too.

He brought it in about a year ago
hes not coming back

Another satisfied raleigh custome then eh alec?? NOT!   he would be better off saving up for a original and much stronger mk2! or even better a grifter!!
