yeah ste that metal polish is allright on certain things as its smooth and dont scratch but i think autsol what ever its called is better on bad rusted surfaces and i use autoglym tyre dressing on the tyres pad and seat or vinyle and rubber care but i think the tyre dressing is a little bit better but thats my preference, but normaly i strip the bikes down and polish every nut bolt and washer on my polishing wheel you can also do the rims if the spokes are removed. ps i thought id better mension i got the tyre dressing tip of jaydog a couple of years ago when i was round his house picking up the nos stars and stripes

just got myself one of them bench grinders, not had chance to get a polishing wheel yet, isn't it a bit tricky getting between the spokes ?

also i forgot to mension yeah i did get that of the bay and yeah it is dodgey trying to polish rims with spokes in you can do a certain amount of the rim though but its a lot better if the spokes are removed. im that mad that ive despoked wheels before polished the rim and every spoke, i tell ya it took ages and i wont be doing it again in a hurry, saying that the buffing wheels are a good investment but be carefull cos you end up trying to polish everything

fantastic pics and bikes.iam in admiration of you.great to see another polising fan..

i used to always use autoglym, and have around 200 bottles of various autoglym products which i use in my business but i actually prefer   armorall for the rubber plasticy bits.

autosols superb stuff too.

How do you keep the workshop so tidy, i often have a sort out/tidy up with all good intentions, but it soon ends up a mess again
