donor bike, if you can call it that, i used the original front wheel on my other grifter, turned out nothing  was worth using on a nos frame. but it was only £5.00 so cant gumble.

thanks hrz, to be honest i wanted good chrome rims but they seem to cost the earth,
after buying the mags i saw similar mags in my local raleigh shop on special offer for about £25 quid a pair.

Stars and Stripes looks a beauty!  I take it you loose the gears when fitting the mags then?  I want to put mags on mine, hence why I ask.

kaner, yeah normally you lose the gears with tuff/mag wheels, but not always as there are some wheels which have the gears.

yeah Vektar mags ussually have 3 speed hub in them.
Had a black pair on Ebay watch.  But they were single speed.  So didnt bid.
