Tidy looking Grifter! I like it.

Is it all original?

Don't forget to come along to the Brooklands Meet, 5th May 2008.

hi, original apart from top tube decal which was too damaged to keep (kept union flag and cut new sticker around it!), mudguards are correct with flaps that fix on the underside, NOS Hex supergrips etc, paint has some scratches and light pitting in places but you cant beat an original bike rather than a resto.

I bought it a few years ago from Ebayer Chopstuff, he was selling good copies of all Grifter decals apart from Stars & Stripes, havent seen any on the bay for a while.

Cheers supergrip!! saves me trawling through ebay...Never mind....  keep trying!! The search for cheap decal for a bloke on a budget continues!!  its amazing how a few years can make such a difference!! the MK1 ones are as rare as hens teeth! but the MK2 are readily available (apart from prizzies, hoarder will admit this!) i got my 1980 MK2 silver ones from Cookymunster on ebay for only £7.99 and they are as good as the originals!! (i think they are now £10.99 but still good value as you get the full set!! i recommend them to anyone who is doing a silver MK2 resto!!
