I bought a chopper off of wayne , and have been tinkering with it , using it as a rolling resto/ clean up , all details can be found on the RAB forum , i get a while every week ti play with it , so its going to be a very long tinker

Its a CHOPPER/GRIFTER thing daisy!! we grifter owners don't really have a problem with choppers as we respect them as they are as you say, "classic raleighs" but a lot of chopper owners really slag grifters off, like for example they had a "grifter throwing competition" at one of their meets a while back..... sad really.....

choppers are seedy and dirty really they arent pretty well if anything they are just show bikes you cant ride them like a grifter

i have rode both and i definantly like the grifter way better we should have a mk3 chopper smash competition

as a kid choppers where out of fashion & only cost a tenner each... my first new bike was a silver super grifter that was nicked after 6 weeks i currently own 71+ 74 choppers + mag burner grifter xl see ebay feedback page eddbram  maybe ill get another super one day
