found this in a skip,emptyd the skip to look for rear mudgaurd but gone!,rear brake,mudgaurd,chaingaurd missing,has a right front brake,michellin `made in england` tyres,same size as front choppers,someone thinks its a `trusty` made around 1956-59 so about 50 years old,lovely duplex frame with sidestand and stableiser holes,where will i get white tyres and parts to resore to running order?,anyone know?,thanks

yeah its a wee mystery this bike!!,thats my surly pugsley behind!,not many in uk,use it on beaches here or soft peaty stuff up local hills,designed originaly for snow riding in alaska,rims are 65mm wide,tyres 3.7" but measure 4",wheels offset 17mm to allow chain clearance,front wheel has rear hub too so interchangable,it has a single speed hub on it,would you like me to post a thread on it?,which section?, bruce

good work on your skip find - cool little bike!  those tyres on your mountain bike are the biggest i've ever seen!!! what's it ride like?

the surly fly`s as the tyres are single ply with an outside diameter of 29" so in mtb terms its a 29er,will post a thread on it on other pics section soon

will keep an eye posted for that!    bet it makes a bit of a hum on smooth tarmac!
