Hi Guys,
For those of you that didn't manage to make it to billing heres a couple of pictures of my fully restored Black Vektar. This one was rather difficult to build as the decals and black edged control panels were rather difficult to replicate. I managed in the end though and it made it debut apperance at billing last weekend. I really like the all Black model. Very 'Darth Vader' me thinks!

I like these bikes, thinking about getting one.  Do you make your own decals?  If so can you give some tips on how to do them?

They are well worth restoring. The electrics can prove to be a little awkward at times and the plastics always go yellow but other than that they are ok to do. Parts can be a pain though and you end up buying Bikes to get the parts that you need. I have loads now to keep me going. My mate is a sign writer and reproduces the decals for me. He prints them in the same way that Raleigh did in the 80's to make sure they look as original as possible.
