About 3 years ago i had a dream   , (no not in the martin luther king stylee), i dreamt that i owned a small bike haulage firm where i used to live in Andover in Hampshire , and the bikes we used were grifters , and we had a contract that was working on a lake restoration project , and they wanted to use bikes as they had a negative impact on the environment and they could get to places where trucks or other larger pick ups couldnt without wrecking the place .

I can still remember it vividly and i have got to thinking that it might be cool to convert one of my red Grifters to fit the role of one of the bikes in my dream , i have an old bmx number plate in my garage that i can use , get that sign written and then source a trailer and fit it to the bike .

Its not much of a custom i know but i might do it just so i can see what it would look like .

I was actually wondering today what got people into their bikes and now you've written this. Was it something they'd never stopped being into or had they just got back into it. I didnt have a dream myself, I recently started thinking about the old bikes i had, I checked out the Burner forums, bought a frame, forks n stuff, then saw some pics of the Grifter day out on Raleigh Burner forum, and remembered always wanting the XL as a kid. I got back into Motorbiking in 1999 after watching Quadrophenia
Talking about trailers, Has anyone got a sidecar for their Grifter? That'd be good

That was my grifter on the bmx day out at cin 07 , and also i think rog has one
