well, heres how i got it back at the chopper rally

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/camper007/Picture359.jpg

pretty standard, good cond for price so i rode it for a while and decided to resto/slight custom it, then it was nearly finished and looked like this

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/camper007/Picture578.jpg

as you can see, it didnt look quite right, didnt tie togeather and to be honest i realised i didnt like choppers that werent either standard or really custom, although, ive never seen a realy custom chopper - so i decided to build one

unfortunatly its gonna be a few days before i can get a pic (wont be completely finished - no decals or chain and its got the wrong cissy bar on at the moment) but youll get the idea and ive got a feeling youre gonna like it, i do

I put a roadster 26" front end on my first chopper  black prismatic.

Wheelied lots.

put the normal 16"er back on

then I fitted a honda CB100 tank and seat on it.  But that covered the shifter.

I had another Chopper.  Cut the headstock and fitted 16" burner front end   with mag.  Put a car gear lever gaitor on the shifter.  BMX bars too.

I built a fake chopper from a Raleigh Denim.  Girls shopper.  It was ok.  Did a hilly 5 miles on it, in 14 minutes.  had a shimano 3 speed and twist grip on it.  I broke a Lyotard pedal spindle, climbing a hill.  kicked the road...graised the back of my hand...on the brake lever...when I fell forward.  And the shifter shut.
Sold the frame to a collector from up north

heres a pic, the forks are one of a kind, we had to make the steerer tube and the braket for the spring, im gonna be changing a few things- seat, cissy bar, levers, grips(maybe), front hub, shifter lever, crank. pedals,

but im gonna build it up first and change the bits over when ive got them. For the decals im gonna do gold letters with a black outline with the standard Mk2 chopper decal styling. Hope you like so far

p.s. the seat will be going down once the tubes have been cleaned out

nope not on the lamp bracket, and also, not difficult to steer just has a bigger turning curcle and the frame moves a bit when the bars are turning fun to steer and ride
