hi guys ,

This project is going to be to restore a mk2 frame , forks and bits back to a fully road legal bike .

I have already bought the bike indoors to work on it , and i have removed the pedals and chain gear , they have both been introduced to my two favourite friends ,  hot soapy water and soapy brillo pad .

Mist al crighty , they are so shiney now that they are de greased and have been given a little TLC , they were than pat dried with some kitchen roll and placed on our dinner table to relax !  

The brake calipers have just been removed (at the expense of my t bar , which turned its final turn ever and then disentigrated ), these will be replaced with the shinies from red 82 that were in turn replaced by the bmx brakes , so baby blue already has lots of shinies to adorn her a little later .

The old cables were snipped off and binned .

When i get back from search and rescue tonight i am hoping to remove the handlebar furniture and all other ancilliary items from the frame and forks    he he found the camera

Thats the colour , couldnt find it earlier , its orrible init  

i think when they are fully restored they look one of the best, i think the blue goes with the chrome

No its the chain wheel but the black protector is completley removed

yes sadly i couldnt find the camera to show you guys how cruddy it was , ha ha , i got a really stern telling off the other day for washing my bike stuff up in the mother in laws sink , i left a tide mark and a front mudguard in her drainer oooops
