here is my november 1982 stars and stripes .i took two frames and forks to my local shotblasters got them done all for £20 then sanded it over with 1200 wet and dry and then two tins of primer then flated off with 1200 wet and dry. and its now ready for its red coat. a local powdercoater charges £10/20 but i wanted to do it myself so off to the car shop and got a carplan red code 30 and here we go the finished product well until my stickers arrive then its time for the clear coat .

No worries mate    what decals are you after? the black ones with silver outer writing like on the silver mk2? or the stars and stripes decals? they come up on the bay from time to time, or i am sure someone on here will point you in the right direction! good luck either way
