well got it to bits took ages to get cotter pins out but wrecked them so bought some new ones.

and now the frame and fork are booked in to get shot blasted cannot wait to get them back to paint them.

so just need a good seat / stickers and chain or and going to fit new cables

Hi Andy

What colour are you going to repaint it. There is a match for the Steel blue colour if your interested.

some say cosmos blue but thats way too dark. I went to the paintshop and looked at over 300 different blues till i found azura blue so i know its good.

yeah the sets of carling are good, put a set on my red bike i restored and cant fault them,

dont do the stars and stripes set do you carling ?

forks have a coat of ford azure on but they gave me a mattalic one so bit darker so not to sure now maybe time to strip again

paint code lol i did not think of that just grab the cans from halfords well i suppose i will have the code this if ur willing to spill the beans lol  tell u what tho the colour i have is going one my next one code name (fusion) lol

It looks way too dark to me mate it looks more like cosmos blue!

I used paint you mix yourself with thinners for the perfect mix.
Spray cans are ok for the mudguards,handlebars etc but you cant get a perfect finish on the frame with a spray can.

The ford azura blue is metallic. If your going to use a spray can Your maybe better off getting the paint from a proper paintshop then get them to put it in an aerosol.
