Great first resto judge    A NOS front light would look good on it  

P.s whats that hairy thing coming out of the front wheel? is it a cats tail!!!

Cheers guys. It's a new hairy tyre that stays warm in the cold, Lol, yes that is a cat's tail, one of the cats around here wanted to feature in the pic to  

Yeah, i've been looking out for a front light and hope to find one soon.
The handlebar I purchased from you 4737carling came out real nice when I stripped and resprayed it. The foam is in real good nick to, thanks again  

I love my Grifter, I really do!

Fantastic job mate!! that looks great, top first resto! i see she is wearing the same tyres as my mk2, i presume you got them from a raleigh stockist, they are really good tyres....

i sold mine mark and now i miss it!!!   it was a lovley looking bike. (but i have another march 79 frame) so not that bad

I know mate but the guy who come round to buy the blue mk1 offered me £250 for the red one and i couldnt resist! Im saving for a new car so the funds have gone to that.

I only have 1 original mk1,2 pre pros,1 oddity,1 restored red mk1 and my custom ultraburner.
I still have 3 mint mk1 frames and forks to make up but have no mint parts left.

Yes your right mate a mint mk2 is worth £250 but it has to be mint and have all the right bits on and mine was (even the supergrips were in excellent condition)
It was a great bike to ride and the gears were as smooth as silk.

(let it go wayne let it go!!!)
