lots of bikes to restore, restore to your own taste bud, but with so many would be an idea to do one to high/good factory standard as such

as for kustoms well why not, mine are not factory but certainly ooze grifter... my advice concentrate on one for now and check the forks now and the cotter pins as that really is all which has gave me problems

get yourself a new thread and put some pics up strip down and rebuild, pics work for us all here

thanks for the advice .

so far only problem is the cotter pins - i hate them .

thinking of doing an xl resto and possibly a red and/or blue one too .

need to start seeing what parts i can find and then decide !

cotter pins a pain first bike a pain had to drill out one in the end,

second bike 3 mm bit of metal plate over the threaded part loads of wd40, good whack and they both popped out, dont be afraid to hit hard with the metal plate over it as it should not bend the cotter pin, forks well your either lucky or your not
