I have been speaking with various members of the forum as well as looking back to when we had just 20 members and there seems to be a collective thought of people having a trophy for certain bikes .

These could be rat bike , best mk1 , best mk2 , best custom , best standard original ect

I personally have no problems with this and yes there is a but ...
who pays for the trophies?
how long do the winners keep them
when do they get awarded

With this in mind , this year i would like to sponsor the best mk2, i will buy a small trophy and get it inscribed .
Then i think we should announce the winners at Billing , as that is closer to the northern members so they too can join in .

Any ideas on this subject?

Good idea steve The trophy should be for keeps there cheap to buy (£5-£7 will get you a 6" inscribed trophy)

I will sponsor best custom. (as i havent got a custom)

I think it would be a good idea to sponsor a bike you havent got
so theres no conflict of interest! What do you guys think?

Also are we just talking grifters or strikers and boxers too?

Im looking at the chopper do , as we have not heard anything from the rcoc regarding us attending as far as im concerned its a go , its only fair that we do not enter our own bikes so who ever presents the prize cant give it to them selves , also i think that bikes that are nominated go to an area and then only have a number on a post it note , that way it cuts down on mates looking after each other .
Could the strika forum have a trophy of their own and present it at the same time .
Yes you have , its that black one nice mmmmmm

Oh yes steve i forgot the black one!! (ive go so many grifters i forgot!!) I wont be entering it so that makes it fair.

Have a think on the cats the bikes are going to be in and ask for a sponsor for each one. so far we have sponsors for...

1. Best custom
2. Best original mk2

We need sponsors for....

3. Best restored mk2
4. Best original mk1
5. Best restored mk1
6. Best rat bike
7. Best in show
8. Best striker
9. Best boxer
10.Best original xl

What does everyone think if its crap please say so we dont mind we wont cry!

The more sponsors the more trophies! come on lads and lasses its only a fiver!

If you want to sponsor a trophy i dont mind sorting the trophies out with steve that way we will get a bulk deal (just send your money in when we place the order)

Once we have numbers we can enquire about the trophies and go from there.
