Hi all ,

Just got back in from Billing and i have to say that it was BY FAR the best event we have ever had !!!
There was NO nasty comments towards us from the chopper owners and we DID actually get a lot of positive feedback from the people who stopped to look at the Grifters that we had there on display both days !

There were as has been posted elsewhere , loads and loads of grifter bargains , i came home with a good set of blue twist grips , a siren lol , a BRAND NEW black mk2 rear mudguard , a lovely headbadge , some brand new gear cable clips , a set of black mag wheels , a really nice front mudguard and the list goes on .

The weather was really hot and i think we all got a tan , there was a good nights entertainment which ranged from a fire dancer company type event to drag racing with pushbikes that were alight and burning happily , although i dont think the security people thoughtit was such a great idea , as they chased the bikes down the road with fire extinguishers lol   .

All in all it was a lovely weekend and i would like to thank , fraggle , swelrose, agent orange , timelord ,shep , grifter ste , sme designs and myself for promoting the forum in such a great light .

As far as i was concerned we will return next year BIGGER and better than ever before .

this was our stand we were sharing with paul from choptastic, the grifters were getting as much if not more interest than the 10 or so choppers/lowriders.cruisers also on the stand



we got this for £18, the guy only wanted to sell it cause of a puncture, i pushed it back to the van, pumped it up and its still up now  i used it for thrashing round and got a massive wheel spin whilst chasing the tandem down for pics






heres the bargain i got for the chopper  

i got it without any bars, cables or heron badge for £40, on the way to the van i saw a pair of bars for £3, choptastic gave me a seat strap and front cable, this has a rechromed early Mk1 headnut so he gave me a Mk2 headnut also, and a gear changer as the one it came with had the piton broken.
