While i have been really busy at the set up for the farnborough airshow today , myself and some other staff have made a remake of two videos , one is of the great escape featuring a plastic egg that we obtained , and the other video is of top gun that some of our colleagues filmed in the show office , funny as you like , when i get a chance i will get a disc with it on .

     

Nice one steve, so you are contributing towards the air show, cool!    must be great to be involved in such a great event! wish i was going!!! i work at bae systems, but unfortunately the runway is only used by motor gliders, training for future R.A.F pilots, the days of tornados, hawks etc landing on it are long gone...... we still get regular flybys from our sister site down the road so not all bad!! been a while since i went to a good show, hope the weather is good for you, hope to see the vids some time, i am a big top gun fan!!! regards, gaz.

Love Air shows, Fond memories of  seeing and hearing lightnings fly over my school after taking off from Bae at Warton. What a plane that was, basically a missile with a guy strapped to the front of it.

Thanks for the info , the site is mad at the moment and it changes beyond belief every day , there are fork lift trucks , artics, cars , golf buggies , vans , ect all jostling for position , its madness , but the stuff that is going to be binned is crazy , decking that is as new , in the skip in 2 weeks , carpet , same , laminate flooring same.  

Sounds like a nightmare at the moment for you steve!!! i am sure it will all fall into place and be a superb day!!    As supergrip says, if you like air shows the southport one is usually a cracker!! i try to go every year, this year i cant make it as i will be in the med on a nice cruise liner!!
