To see who has a Grifter nearesr the start AND end of the production run , would that not be a nugget to find , THE LAST EVER GRIFTER BUILT  , its out there somewhere !!!!

Ste, I think I mentioned before that I have a MAy 76 blue mk1 that could be the oldest surviving Grifter

I suppose the last Grifter to be made would of been a 'GS' model

I wounder if Raleigh UK have any records archived that would shed any light on Grifter production.

IT'S EVEN MORE UPSETTING AS THERE SEEMS TO BE SO MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHOPPER FLOATING AROUND INC PROTOTYPE IMAGES AND WHO DESIGNED IT.

I DID FIND SO INFORMATION ABOUT A LADY AT RALEIGH WHO COMMISIONED THE GRIFTER AFTER VISITING THE STATES AND SEEING THE NEW BMX BIKES THERE.

I'LL HAVE TO HAVE A LOOK FOR HER NAME AGAIN.
