Just wanted to say hello before the torrent of technical help requests begin. !!

From reading the forum last week i deceided to get on board with a restoration. Bought a minger silver mk2 and started work this weekend. Going good until the cotters   but that'll get done by Mr black and decker if need be.

hi mate

just been down this route and all i can say is try every thing else before you get the drill out, what i had to do in the end was drill it but a right pain , if you have to drill, drill from the solid end ,

also before you go on try getting the forks out, might make you feel better when trying to get cotter pin out  ;)
