Hello. I am Steve I had a Grifter in 1976 hence the name.
I would like to purchase another bike similar to my old one although I do not want to rush in and get the wrong one. Is there a price guide I have seen some bikes on ebay and the prices seem to vary.

I would go up to £250 is there a shop or somewhere that I could see them.

there is but you'll need a de'lorean and the help of doc brown  

Carling is selling restored MK1's, you'll get a nice original bike off ebay for that money, but its the waiting game  

Is the price list for original bikes from ebay, I understand the prices do fluctuate on there.

its for original bikes ie: not restored and in 3 conditions

Welcome to the forum '76! hope you get a nice grifter soon, i am sure between the lads on here and ebay etc, you won't have long to wait!  

So for another £25 I should be able to get a real good one, If I wait of course.

Do you guys go out for rides on the Grifters or is it more of a forum based virtual scene

I for one use my bikes, and the fiancee too!! (see my pics below) as do many others on the site, its good to use them for the purpose they were built for....

we ride um and we love it!! theres nothing better than going riding on a classic grifter and seeing grown men trip over the curb trying to get a look at your bike as you wizz past!! (well i say wizz its more like a calm whaft!!!)

It looks like you had yourselfs a good time But theres something that concerns me "Its just a load of blokes". Where are the birds? Do you pull when you get there?
