Seems like classic bikes and classic cars go together! At least with a campervan you can chuck the grifters in the back.

Hi, lets get it over and done with;

Name: Neil

Age: 38

location: Ascot, Berks

Job: Civil Serpent

Interests: Classic cars (I run a '65 Rover 2000), bikes, '70's cop shows, Classic clothes (60's, 70's) drinking etc,etc. I had a Mk 1 grifter and a Mk 2 chopper from new, but offloaded them, Stupidly, when I purchased a Rover back in 2001. Been kicking my backside ever since! I'm seriously trying to relive my feckless youth by finding a Mk 1 grifter in red. Just hope the missus doesn't find out!

Hi Steve, Thanks for replying. Been looking into the site and everyone seems full on ! Feel a bit daunted as I haven't even got a grifter at the mo! Hopefully that situation will change pretty damned quickly. How often do you lot get together? Could do with meeting up with like minded nutters!

Thanks for the info. I'll get get my butt in gear for the May gig. Might be a odd turning up at a Vee Dub do with '65 rover 2000, but hey, what the heck! Sorry not to get back sooner, being a civil serpent, they have me working all the devil's hours! Anyway, I'll keep my eyes peeled for that elusive Mk1 Red 'G'.

Nothing wrong with a Rover 2000 there cool Most of us Vee Dubbers appreciate other classics too My camper even shared a AA tow truck with one once
