Some nice finds there. I love my old skool computers. Get them fired up and start playing some classic games. 3D Monster maze on the XZ81 was the biz.

As you know i like mi NOS stuff so couldn't resist buying this a few years ago. Its a NOS ZX81 and is the the rare earlier type that you had to assemble yourself.

i have at mums house bless her, a commodore 16 and a commodore 64, the 64 is very swish it has a tape player and a floppy disc reader, the old 5 and a quarter discs that is the real bendy ones plus loads of games boulder dash, olympics games, etc

they must be from early 80s as remember playing them as a very young boy state of the art then , the noise of the game loading up i will never forget

Nice find, top collection of consoles you have there andy! i too have a original (with box) rubber keyed spectrum 48k (not working tho) a full working spectrum +2 with built in tape deck, a boxed atari 520 st fm, a 78 "woody" atari cartridge console, PS1, PS2 its great firing them up every so often for a blast to the past! just bought "ghost busters!" for the spectrum off ebay! cant wait to have a go on that! lol!

I run all my classic consoles on a 5 yr old goodmans tv, just plug the black "R F " lead into the back of tv (round tv aerial input) from the console, select a channel and manual search it till the picture from the console appears then store it! never tryed a new lcd/plasma, my brand new 40" sony bravia has a old style input for R F aerials so i will have to try the speccy on it sometime.... so yes, you nans old telly should be suitable! heres my old "woody" atari console!
