Well folks it's that time of year again were we all fall out and want to kill each each other. Yes it's Grifter Calendar entries time.

Please post pictures of your Grifters in this thread and at the end of the month we will have a vote for the 12 images to be included in the calendar.

As a pointer try and make your Grifters look heroic. Maybe take a picture from low down or from a higher position rather than at head height. pay attention to the background and maybe try something different like shooting at night time or a moving shot. The most important thing though is have fun.

On a technical note pictures taken on a camera phone may not be of good enough quality to be printed so bear that in mind.

I have tried so many times to wish for NOS parts under that tree and to date it has been fruitful!!! How on earth do you think i can build such quality bikes?

Great shots GaZ! You have a keen eye. Lovely bikes. What years is your MK2 Silver and MK1?

Many thanks john, top pics from you too!! my silver MK2 is a june 1980 and the red mk1 is a april 1978. They are both good bikes and ride well, the mk1 is still on the original "made in holland" supergrips  

I have just bought a Silver mk2. Just collected it today. Its an October 1981 Mk2 that was only ridden for a few weeks and then stored. The son lost interest! (i think he bought a Vindec! lol) I bought it from the original owner and it is brand new out of the box. All the R nuts are mark free and in excellent condition. It really is a stonker!  

BTW GaZ... I love the shot with low light and the rocks along the foreground.(2nd from last picture) I was thinking it would be a good idea to perch some grifters on top of the rocks and take a few shots with low light so the grifters would be silhouetted. Even better if we could convince some seagulls to sit on the bikes and catch a few flying....

Wow you lucky git!!  to say i am jealous is a severe understatement! thats sounds like the bike of my dreams.....

No the bike of your dreams gaz is another lovley mk1 to go with the red one you already have!

Well wayne the silver mk2 has a special place in my heart as it was one of these what i had as a young lad! i love my mk1 too, but if i ever get another it will have to be a minter, but i will never be able to afford one!!

start a piggy bank mate with only £1 coins,the ones you can only get the money out of when you break them. It soon mounts up and before you know it minter mk1 in the front room!
