Here is the Strika I bought from Bendycat. I expected it to be pretty tatty and needing a full strip down and respray, but, was pleasantly surprised when it arrived.

The original decals were all in good shape as was the black paint with only the mudguards needing a fresh coat. The rear mudguard decal needs replacing as there was only a quarter of it present. I decided to take it to bits and give it a thorough clean up.

The stem tube and forks were bent and have been straightened a fair bit, Ive cut and polished the paint and cut around the top tube decal which now looks infinitely better (it must have been put on in the factory by Stevie Wonder as its pretty crooked!)

The chrome cleaned up a treat and the best part was the seat, its mint and the chrome is like new.

Here’s a few pics, apologies for the quality, hopefully I’ll get a decent camera this crimbo!  smile/dynamic/xmas.gif
