I have a black Strika and it is decent but the decal is coming off. I recently saw some decals on e bay but they are not the same. The decals on my Strika are like hollographic 70's dayglow and I thought if I got the decals from e bay then they might look better if the bike was bright yellow then I thought, I may be wrong after 30 years but I could have sworn I used to see a Bright Yellow Strika?

Any info would be great.

Thank you

Warwick

Thanks for the info Steve,

Mmmmmmm That blows that idea. Ok another stupid question. Any chance that I could get the Hollographic decals in the near future?

Or just go for the plain decals on a black re-spray?

I also have a metalic Blue Boxer still in the box as I am not allowed to open it until Christmas?

But I would like to contribute to this section with Photo's and i'm on the prowl for technical info.

Thank You

Warwick

Hello everyone.

I was unsure, I was a Grifter Boy, Red Mk1 myself but I just remember bright yellow so next thing is a colour match?  But still is it even worth waiting for day-glow decals and keeping it black or Yellow? Any ideas???

Thanks for the input

Warwick

Hey mk2 grifter gaz

The silver is an option too. The decals on e bay sport a silver Strika.

Mmmmmmm

Still the Yellow could be a blinder.

Thought I would start on the Strika and build up to the Grifters.

Thanks

Warwick

I do not know what the specific Yellow is for the Boxer but is there a match to be found in a can?

Thank you

Different stickers sorry. I also bought the stickers, and like you thought that they'd be prizmatic, so now i'm spraying one of my Strika's silver to match the stickers.

Wow

Thanks for the picture, that is quality.

1977 Grifter I would be very interested in the decals just let me know how you want to do it but has anyone got any idea as to the name of the colour or the nearest match for the Yellow. Once again thank you for all the support on this subject. I will take some pictures of my Black Strika today and put them up later but I also want to start stripping it down today so...

It's down to Halfords for me, just as bad as e bad but...

I will keep checking this post for more ideas.

Thank you everyone for the feedback, it's great.
